Graphic 45 Time to Flourish Standing Calendar

My Cut @ Home post on Tuesday was a cute little standing calendar featuring Graphic 45’s Time to Flourish paper.  I love how it turned out —

Please check out my post on Cut @ Home for more pictures and details on how to complete this.  It is a super easy project, and way too much fun!  Here’s a link to that post —

Featured Post – Paper Crafter’s Library Blog

I am so excited to be featured on another blog today, the Paper Crafter’s Library Blog.  My project is a Winter Birthday Card, and is made using some of my favorite dies.  Here is a picture —

Top Cards of 2014 OWH Blog Hop

owh top 2014

As a part of the Operation Write Home Top Cards of 2014 blog hop, here are my top 14 favorite cards for 2014.  Not all were OWH cards, but most are OWH-friendly.  I’ve noted below if I think a card is not OWH appropriate, and why —

inset letters

april shower

sizz aster

pirate ship card  Because of the die size, this is an A-7 card, so it is a little too big for OWH.

st nick  St. Nick’s beard is flocked.  It would be better to do the card without flocking for OWH.

Thanks for joining me today.  I hope that you have a very happy 2015 — but for now, Hop on . . .  (here’s the link back

Happy New Year!

Here’s my latest post for Cut @ Home — a Happy New Year card.

I just love the accordion dies by Elizabeth Craft Designs, and the versatility that they offer.  This card features the Katie Label Accordion die set and the Katie Stars Frame Edges die set.  It was so very easy to assemble this card with four panels (of course you can use as many as you want).  You can find the full details —

I hope you have a very happy 2015!

Happy Holidays!

This is a busy holiday week!  Hanukkah ends tomorrow evening (12/24), and the celebration of Christmas begins.  Kwanzaa begins on Friday (12/26), and ends on January 1.  However you celebrate, I hope that you have a joyous time with family and friends.

As always, more details are available on my Cut @ Home blog post —

Here is another Christmas card I designed using a Penny Black die, “Joyous”.  I love the simplicity of this die, and how easy it is to make a holiday themed card (either Christmas or birthday, etc.)

This card is perfect for a product called Prills.  Prills by U.S. Artquest are little round balls of fun — beads with no hole.  My favorite use for Prills is as a flower center, but there are many other uses as well.   In the video on my full Cut @ Home blog post you can see how they might be used to decorate cupcakes or ice cream cones, or how you might use them to create a snow scene.  Here’s a link to the full Cut @ Home post —
